What the morning looks like now
The association publishes the rate. Someone in the shop opens yesterday's poster, types the new number, checks it twice, exports a feed image and a story image, and posts them. In Chennai the rate is published again at 3:30, so the same person does it again.
On a festival morning that person is at home. On a Sunday the rate still moves. A wrong digit goes out with your name on it and your customers screenshot it. And if the poster is late, the customer who wanted the rate before deciding has already called, or has looked at the shop next door.
None of this sells a gram. It is copying a number onto a picture, every day of the year.

The Jewellers and Diamond Traders Association in Chennai sets the rate each morning and again in the afternoon. In Kerala the board rate comes out at about 9:38. MirrAR reads it from the association's own website.

The 22K and 24K rate per gram, the sovereign price and the change since yesterday go onto the poster. If the rate is not available that day, you get a warning before anything goes out. If your showroom prices differently, set your own rate under Metal price and the poster uses that.

Branches and cities
One poster for each rate you quote
Branches that follow the same rate share one poster; send it to every branch's channel. A branch in another city follows another association, so it gets its own poster at its own time.
A single shop in Chennai runs two: the morning rate and the afternoon rate. A chain with a Kochi branch adds a third, in Malayalam, with the Kerala board rate. A shop that sells silver adds a silver poster. Each has its own time, kit and language.

Where do the rates come from?
From your jewellers' association. At the time you set, the poster fetches the day's rate from the association's website and builds itself. If your showroom prices differently, set your own rate under Metal price and the poster uses that instead.
Do I still have to type the rate every morning?
No. The poster fetches it at the time you set. If the rate is not available that day, you get a warning before anything goes out.
What if the rate changes in the afternoon?
Schedule a second poster for the afternoon. It fetches the rate again at its own time.
Which languages can the poster use?
English, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi and Arabic. A poster carries English with one of the others, or English alone.
Where does the poster go?
To a Telegram channel you connect and to your email, as a feed image and a story image with the caption ready. You can download any poster and post it anywhere. Instagram and Facebook Page publishing are being built.
Can it post to my WhatsApp status?
WhatsApp does not allow any app to post a status for you. Download the poster, or have it sent to you, and post it in two taps. For sending the rate to your customers on WhatsApp, ask us about Wha Engage.
Can I show it on the TV in my shop?
Yes. The Advanced plan includes one in-store screen and the Complete plan three, running on MirrAR Digital Signage. The landscape poster plays alongside your other content.
